I don't care for sponge Bob but I put it on today to see what Lydia would do. It was so cute she laughed and kicked, made cute baby noises and waved her hands in the air. I guess its all the colors.

At Last

At last I have reached the two month mark with my little girl. I thought I would keep her home to cut down on chances of her catching a cold or worse the flu. She is now two months and I'm getting ready to take her out. This weekend will be her first time with me at church. I'm praying she sleeps through the whole sermon. :)

3am

Lydia didn't want to go to sleep tonight. I couldn't get her to go to bed, so daddy took a turn at trying to get her to sleep. She just kept fighting sleep. She went to sleep at last when I laid down next to her.

 Its about 3am and I just finished feeding her and putting her back to sleep, (well trying to get her to sleep that is.) She has laughed twice today and smiles in her sleep.

My Little One

I am soooo sleepy. I guess I should have taken a nap today but I got busy blogging...lol.... and now I need to go make dinner before my little angel wakes up. She is about a month old now and wakes up only twice in a night. Last night my husband got up with her each time so I could sleep. 

Everytime she cries I run to go pick her up. Richard said I have to stop doing that and let her cry a little. So last night when he took over watching her he decided he was going to get her to sleep in her own bed. He said she was crying for just a little and then fell to sleep. She slept all night in her own bed. He said I'm going to spoile her if I pick her up every time she is crying. :( I can't help wanting to run and get her each time though. I imagin she is thinking, "Why wont mommy come get me?"

Enjoying Baby Lydia

Lydia is now a month old and I'm enjoying her. She still sleeps a lot during the day and keeps me up at night but I'm getting use to it. I will take a nap with her during the day so I can keep up with her at night. Richard had this last month off from work so he could have bonding time with her, but now I'm on my own during the day. At first I was a little worried about how that would be, but I am happy to say that it has been working out fine so far. She lets me put her down now in the day time for a nap and sleeps a few hours before she is ready to eat.
 Bedtime is the part I'm still trying to get her to understand. She wont sleep in her bed if she can help it. I don't know why we even bothered to buy her a bed if she is always going to be in my bed.....lol....

A New day!

I love it it feels like spring this morning! I got up around 6am, feed the baby, put her back to sleep. Had my time to get a relaxing bath. Clean the house, have my morning time with God, make a cup of tea and now I'm relaxing. :)

Ok here are some photo of me. I thought I better put them up before the baby comes. This weekend I was in labor and delivery again because my contractions were 5 min apart. I'm wanting her to come this weekend. I so hope she will.

36 Weeks!

I'm really excited today. I went to the doctor this morning. Baby Lydia is doing great and she has already turned and is in the head down position! I have dilated 1 centimeter. Now she can come at any time though I hope she waits at lest a week or two more so I can make it to 37 weeks. But the long wait is about over.

Baby Shower Update:
We decided to have the shower after Lydia is born because one I can't stand to hardly sit in a car for even 10 min and two it snows at my parents place and we don't want to get all snowed in :) So we are still having it but maybe a month or so after.
